Since Tourwriter launched in 2004 we’ve experienced strong growth and are fortunate to have 150 Inbound Tour Operators and Destination Management Companies and 600+ users utilising Tourwriter across 30 countries.

And although we’ve been operating for 14 years, we’re only getting started on scaling up our teams. We are also about to release a new SaaS product that will help drive an increased number of leads to the Sales team.

At Tourwriter, the Sales Executive is responsible for executing our sales strategy to support Tourwriter’s short, medium and long term strategic initiatives and brand vision. The primary objectives for the role are to:

  • Ensure your top line sales targets are achieved profitably

  • Be a champion of the Tourwriter mission, culture, vision and values

In a business that is looking to scale, the Sales Executive will adopt Tourwriter Sales Methodology and will religiously follow our systematic sales process.

Ideally, the Sales Executive will have new business generation experience within SaaS, Cloud and/or Software environments, Tourism industry knowledge and experience and will have the ability to relocate and/or work within other international markets.

The successful candidate after showing competence in the role, will be put into a development plan that adds to his/her ability as a manager, as they progress into the head of sales position.


Sales Leadership:

  • Leading the Weekly Sales Exec stand ups and wider Sales team Meetings

  • Management of the Sales team reporting (via Zoho the CRM, and for internal and external reporting)

  • Representation of the Sales team at relevant internal meetings

  • Input into Sales team budgetting, and sign off of minor Sales team expenses

Sales Delivery: Ensure your top line sales targets are achieved profitably

  • Financial

    • Be accountable for delivering your number

    • Support individual sales team members where appropriate in hitting their targets

    • Treat each sales opportunity like a P&L

  • Ensure first year retention rates stay within targeted range

  • Ensure all key revenue generating activity targets (Initial Sales Callbacks and Initial Demos) are met for each period

  • Use all tools and systems (CRM in particular) in a way that supports organisational goals
